Power supply & cable management in defence technology
Split cable entry systems and cable glands by icotek enable a fast, safe and cost-effective way to feed cables with connectors (e.g. circular multi-pin connectors, signal connectors, sensor connectors...) or cable protection conduits through the vehicle floor, body or roof (e.g. for warning devices) without voiding the warranty of the cables. icotek split cable entry components also seal the entry points with up to IP66/IP68 and UL type 4X rated protection and provide strain relief according to EN 62444.
Cables without connectors as well as pneumatic and hydraulic hoses can be routed through membrane based multi-cable entry plates which provide up to IP66/IP68 and UL type 4X rated protection.
Our cable entry components fit on rectangular or round metric cut-outs from M16 to M85. For installation icotek offers suitable knockout tools and punches.

For a secure (vibration & shock resistant) and structured cable management and strain relief of electrical lines icotek offers several strain relief plates for various mounting methods.
For protected routing of cables at the exterior or the engine compartment icotek offers cable protection conduits in various sizes and materials.
Extreme weather conditions require a robust material. Due to the high fire class, UV resistance according to ISO 4892-2A and vibration resistance according to EN 61373 of the icotek products as well as the tested protection classes up to IP66/68 and UL Type 4X, the icotek cable entry systems are very well suited to the demands of the defence industry.
Many of our products are available with corrosion-resistant V2A screws or sometimes have no metallic elements at all, which also enables use in outdoor areas with higher humidity.
icotek products also meet the European fire protection standard EN 45545-2 in category HL3. In addition, icotek also offers cable entry systems with E45 / EI30 fire protection mat according to EN 45545-3.
In general, icotek products have a high quality and outstanding efficiency. All icotek products are quick and easy to install and to be assembled with cables, during the initial installation as well as in case of maintenance or retrofitting. Furthermore, icotek product materials are halogen and silicone free.
