Inside Sales Representative
– Technical Sales Focus
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a critical role in supporting the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) from inside the office, as well as providing support to manufacturer representatives (MFR) and distributors within the same region. The role is focused on managing daily sales activities, customer interactions, and coordination with the RSM. This includes offering extensive technical sales and application support, including assisting customers in configuring tailored solutions to meet their specific engineering requirements and addressing complex technical inquiries with expertise.
The ISR will work closely with the RSM, manufacturer reps, and distributors in the region to achieve sales goals, support business development efforts, and contribute to the growth of icotek Corp.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Technical Sales Support for Regional Sales Manager, Manufacturer Reps, and Distributors:
- Provide daily support to the RSM, assisting with customer follow-ups, sales operations, and other tasks within the region
- Support manufacturer representatives and distributors with addressing advanced sales inquiries, providing detailed product information, and ensuring timely customer follow-ups within region
- Provide expert technical and application support to customers, manufacturer reps, and distributors, with a strong emphasis on helping configure and implement tailored solutions that meet their specific needs
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and reports for the RSM, manufacturer reps, and distributors
Lead Generation and Qualification
- Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to potential customers in the region to generate new leads
- Qualify inbound leads by assessing customer requirements and identifying alignment with icotek’s products
- Maintain and update the CRM system with new lead information and follow-up activities
Customer and Partner Relationship Management
- Handle customer and distributor inquiries, providing information about products and services
- Support customers, manufacturer reps, and distributors with post-sale questions and concerns, coordinating with the RSM to resolve any issues
Sales Activity and Performance Tracking
- Track daily sales activities, including calls, emails, and follow-up actions in the CRM
- Provide the RSM, manufacturer reps, and distributors with regular updates on sales activities, lead status, and customer feedback
- Assist in preparing reports for sales performance analysis and pipeline updates for the region
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with the RSM, manufacturer reps, and distributors in the region to ensure alignment of sales strategies and goals
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to support sales campaigns and ensure seamless and technically informed customer experience
- Share insights and feedback with the RSM, manufacturer reps, and distributors to help refine sales approaches and identify new business opportunities

Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in providing technical sales or application support, preferably in a B2B environment
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), CAD software, product configuration tools, and other technical platforms used in engineering and sales support
- Knowledge and understanding of industry certifications and the practical applications of products and solutions in engineering contexts
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze customer requirements and provide tailored engineering solutions to meet their needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with customers and partners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team oriented
- Ability to travel 10 % of the time throughout the assigned region
